The Jester's Court is based out of Baltimore, MD. At your child's next birthday party why not try drumming? It is a safe activity that all ages enjoy - no experience drumming is necessary! I can specifically tailor my services to the type of event for which we are needed and can even include singing, drumming, and dancing. Examples of some of my past events include:
-private parties -school assemblies and faires -outdoor festivals -community activities
My drums - I have lots of kid and adult sized drums and percussion, including a big drum for that special birthday kid! I have enough equipment for groups ranging from 2 - 80 people.
My base rate is $250 which includes travel, setup, and 1 hour of continuous interaction with guests. Other fees might include $50 extra for travel over 30 miles away from the center of Baltimore, and if you would like more time than an hour, additional time is $50 per 1/2 hour past the agreed upon start time. If your event has over 30 people, and needs a PA system I have one available and would include a $15 setup/cartage fee. When you email us, please include the following: - What day you need/want? - Where you are located? - How many people do you expect? - What is the age range? - What kind of space will you have for the event? - What is the date of your event? - Estimated time of the event? I look forward to hearing from you for your next event! Happy Drumming, Jennifer Click here to email

The Jester's Court Manifesto
We intend to create and play music that is empowering, healing, spiritual, and motivationally positive. All cultures, spiritual schools of thought, mysticism and emotions combine here. Our motivators are love and spirit.
We intend that within this setting of music and community, there will be opportunity to share music, dance, songs, and philosophy from all walks of humanity.
We encourage the inner child (our playful spirits) of everyone involved to come out and flourish in this positive enviroment. We intentend to entertain and enchant our audience, and create a sense of community and bonding with audience participants that have never met before and may never meet again.
We intend to create a type of performance that transforms a space (wherever the Jester’s Court travels to) into a wrinkle or pocket in time. The setting is a place not in the present time, but not in the past or the future either, rather, simply suspended in a time of itself. We wish to create a worldly setting where the idea is that all cultures and all periods of time pass through this pocket. Through our performance, we wish to create a magical experience unlike any other.
We intend to create and distribute a type of music and culture within a space that breaks down the walls that the society we live in has created on an interpersonal level. This space provides people an opportunity to share a bond with other people on an almost tribal level using elements of community participation. Music, chant, drumming, dance, theater, elements of meditation, theraputic uses with drumming and chant, and group empowerment all make up the core of what our performances are primarily focused upon.
